Second night in Barcelona.

It's proving difficult to find any reviews for the European shows but Stan Goldstein has hit the nail on the head again here:- 

One of the many reasons fans go to multiple Bruce Springsteen shows is that he always changes up the set list.   The best examples of that is when Bruce performs back-to-back shows in the same city.Friday night in Barcelona Spain, saw Bruce and the E Street Band play 11 songs that they didn't play on Thursday.

We were gobsmacked over here when the first two songs came up so I can't imagine what it must have been like to be there. It must have been a real shock to the system as you are gearing up for Badlands or We Take Care Of Our Own and Bruce pulls out ... Night

I understand Loose Ends was sound checked along with Spirit In the Night.  Loose Ends is one of my absolute favourites but as we retired gracefully to our bed it still hadn't been played.  It's a measure of how involved you can get from 900 odd miles away when this morning Mike said to me  'You didn't get Loose Ends last night'.  I wouldn't have got it anyway - I wasn't there!

There were quite a few people on GL last night having a stiff drink to help with the shock of not being at the show and at least one person threatened to shoot themselves! I thought I would have a serious case of setlist envy during the tour but it hasn't happened. It goes without saying that I would like to be going to more shows, but if I can't be there, it helps to know friends are standing in your stead and appreciating every move, every word, every pluck of the guitar sting or beat of the drum.

Anyway, here is the full set list.  Probably the most surprising (and arguably the best) set list of the tour, yet nothing new. Only goes to prove that you don't need a premier to make it an epic show.
