It has been getting more and more difficult to squeeze the Sunday posts in alongside the tour so I've decided to give them a holiday for the time being...
... but for today I have some exciting news from Leeds. The first seats have just been installed in our new arena!

There is an old piece in The Guardian about it. I notice it says the venue will be completed by 2012 but apparently it will now be ready for June 2013.
Our local news programme tell us the first acts to be appearing will be announced shortly.
We went to visit the site the other day. It has a way to go before it's finished by the looks of it!
So Bruce - your show at Roundhay Park in Leeds, on the 'Born In The USA' tour, is the stuff of legends around here and you haven't been back for nearly 30 years. Our new venue will be open next year. Leeds is a great city and it's easy to get to by train and road. We have an airport. We have designer shops. We have a good range of luxury hotels but if you want complete privacy you could rent one of these five * apartments.
It's time you came back to Leeds. Please come and help us celebrate the opening of the Leeds Arena.
