Dublin 17th July 2012 - show 46

Dublin’s O’Connell Bridge, which spans the famed River Liffey, is deemed to be the only bridge in the European continent is as wide as it is long.

Well I didn't know so many people followed Bruce's set lists. We woke up this morning to find Radio 2 (Britain's most listened to national radio station) playing I Fought The Law and explaining Bruce's entrance on stage the night before. This publicity has done him no harm. Might not be good news for us though - could encourage more people to try for tickets.

As our man is big news at the moment there's loads of stuff online to go at.  I've chosen this review for no particular reason. Here's a quote:- 

There are few performers aged 62 who give three-hour live performances into which they throw themselves both mentally and physically. But Springsteen live is the stuff of legend.

Maybe that’s why, when other superstars are struggling to sell tickets, he continues to perform to sell-out crowds.

Well because of the switch off in London Tenth Avenue Freeze Out will forever have one less play than the 'ever-presents'.  Rosalita made it's first appearance for a while.  I never really understood the clamour for this song. We didn't hear it live until Old Trafford on The Magic Tour.  Mike's cousin who was standing beside me knew every word. I've grown to really like the song now and I'm sorry we didn't hear it in our shows - still don't know all the words though!

A couple of premiers as well as I Fought The Law.  Neither a particular favourite of mine but always good to have a first timer in there. If my stats are correct this makes the total number of different songs on the tour 117.
