Trieste 11th June 2012 - show 33

Being a geography dunce I had to check the location of Trieste. Well I knew it was in Italy, but actually, only just.

Interesting fact - 1954 the city was divided and the northern zone was given to Italy while the remainder of the territory became part of Yugoslavia. 

Well tonight is one of those I-don't-have-much-time nights so I've stolen a Facebook post from one of our best Bruce buddies - thanks Ceinwen.  I know it's preaching to the converted here but it was aimed at her non Bruce friends. 

... is home from a fantastico weekend in Italy seeing Bruce in concert! For some of you secretly (or not so secretly lol!) wondering why I travel to multiple shows here's a little insight: Milan 3 hour 40 min show / 33 songs; Florence 3 hours 25 mins / 31 songs. Between the 2 nights 22 songs were only played once...so no, he doesn't play the same at each show, and boy what shows they were! The great food, wine and company also helps of course...

She goes on to thank the friends she was with on this part of her Bruce journey and not forgetting husband Hywel.

So here's the set list.  Don't have a start and finish time yet.

You might notice that The Rising has been played one less time than the 'ever presents'. What made him leave it out at San Sebastian do you think?
